  Banker by Chance, Leader by Choice Writer- Shiv B Singh Book Reviewer - Shri Hari Misra I am happy to share the review of my book "Banker by Chance, Leader by Choice", which has been published in magazine "The Indian Banker" published by Indian Banks' Association, Mumbai. The book is a good guide to Middle and Senior level managerial functionaries, who are on their career progression. The book simultaneously offers good learning exposure to new entrants in the banking industry.

TV Talk on Vigilance Awareness with Doordarshan Utta Pradesh We observed Vigilance Awareness Week during 26-10-2021 to 01-11-2021. Various programmes were organized during the  week at the Corporate Office, Regional Offices and Branches. On the On the last day of the Vigilance Awareness Week i.e 01-11-2021, I had TV talk on Doordarshan Uttar Pradesh in their programme Namaste UP. I share the video recording of the programme.

 Role of PSBs- Impact on Various Sectors of Economy and The Society- Way Forward Post Consolidation           The Institute of Cost Accountants of India organised a Webinar on 17-07-2021 on the "Role of PSBs- Impact on Various Sectors of Economy and The Society- Way Forward Post Consolidation" to mark the 52nd Anniversary of Bank Nationalisation.          I had the pleasure and privilege of sharing my views on the issue with special reference to Regional Rural Banks. Ms Pamaja, MD & CEO of Indian Bank was the Chief Guest.              I am highly thankful to the  Institute of Cost Accountants of India for providing the excellent opportunity, which has enriched me personally, academically and professionally.   

    NATIONAL BANK FOR AGRICULTURE AND RURAL DEVELOPMENT - FOUNDATION DAY                 NABARD celebrated their 40th Foundation Day on 12th July 2021. NABARD is playing the role of the Developmental Financial Institution for promoting lending to farm and non form sector in rural areas. NABARD provides assistance for capacity and capability building through trainings, organizational support for technological & marketing activities and financial support through short term and long term refinance.               NABARD conferred the award of 2nd Best Performing Regional Rural Bank across India on our "ARYAVART BANK" on the parameters of overall performance.                                                         Post Covid and Atma Nirbhar Bharat A Programme on Covid related issues was relayed by aired by All India Radio, Lucknow on 19-06-2021 having experts from field of medical fraternity and myself represented banking. I had the opportunity to share my views on Human Resource issues and Atma Nirbhar Bharat during and post Covid very briefly.
